The Clu Crew was created for families who want stories their kids can enjoy, and parents can trust.
Each episode is an audio adventure built around curiosity, problem-solving, and meaningful choices, with Christian faith and biblical values woven naturally into each story.
The Clu Crew is designed to fit easily into family life and to be something parents feel good about choosing. It offers content that aligns with Christian faith while remaining fun, accessible, and easy to listen to.
The Clu Crew is recommended for ages 6–16 and works well for both independent listening and family time.

Bobby Clu
Hey, what’s up? I mean…how are you? My name’s Bobby, and I have a twin sister named Abby. They say we’re fraternal twins, whatever that means. We make a good team finding clues together. You might say that my appetite for solving mysteries is almost as big as my appetite for donuts.
Abby Clu
Hi, I’m Abby! I’m a fraternal twin with Bobby. Bobby should know that fraternal twins are twins that aren’t identical. Of course, we’re not identical! He’s a boy, and I’m a girl. And our differences definitely don’t end there. It’s hard to believe that a brother and sister can be so different. But after all we’ve been through, we’re blessed to have each other.
Abby Clu

Hey, I’m Peter! Losing both my parents in a plane crash made me grow up fast. Without my Mom and Dad around, I work twice as hard to protect my three younger siblings while trying my best to excel at school and sports. Coming from a family of overachievers, I have big shoes to fill. Thankfully, my sister Claire mostly takes care of the twins, so I can handle the more daring tasks.

Hey there, I’m Claire! I’m the second oldest of The Clu Crew. Peter might be the oldest, but between babysitting and looking after the twins, I feel like the family matriarch. As the first one of us to get a job, I’m kind of the breadwinner of the group. When Uncle Chuck and Bonnie are at work, I’m the one they trust to keep everyone out of trouble. It wasn’t easy moving from the Amazon rainforest to a condo in downtown Chicago, but with God on our side – as well as good instincts and a positive attitude – I know we’ll be okay.

Uncle Chuck and Dr. Bonnie
Hi there! I’m Uncle Chuck. After a long day of work at the Great Lakes Naval Base, I used to come home to a quiet evening at home in my condo. Sure, it was lonely sometimes, but I always knew what to expect. That all changed when my brother passed away. Suddenly, I became the guardian of four young kids – and their pet monkey! Life on the battlefield was unpredictable, but now every day is an adventure living with the Clu Crew.
And I’m Dr. Bonnie! I thought medical school prepared me for everything. But I never had children, and had no idea how much challenge and joy they could bring to my life. My good friend and colleague Charles Clu always seemed stoic and distant – not exactly the fatherly type. Having the children in our lives brought out a whole new side to each of us, and to our relationship. Plus, it’s nice to have some new friends to bring to church!

Whoever said that dogs are man’s best friends never owned a capuchin monkey! I’m just a little guy, but I have a very important job. I cheer up the kids when they get homesick for their old life in Venezuela. Uncle Chuck wasn’t too crazy about me at first – neither was his property manager. But despite my quirks, I have a way of growing on people. The Clu Crew wouldn’t be the same without me!

Who's Behind The Clu Crew?
The Clu Crew was created in January 2022 by Unshackled program director Timothy Gregory to reach a younger audience not yet ready for some Unshackled content, while providing families with a fun, faith-friendly, biblically based audio series they could enjoy together.
Produced by Unshackled, an organization creating gospel-centered audio dramas since 1950, The Clu Crew carries that legacy forward through adventurous, engaging audio storytelling created specifically for kids and parents and rooted in Christian faith.
